How is my removal quote calculated?
We review the inventory, vehicle and crew, both addresses, access, journey, expected duration and optional support. Accurate photographs and an item list make the starting estimate more useful.
Is a “From” price my final price?
No. It is the published starting rate for the selected service. Your quotation confirms the final scope, minimum time, applicable charges and any additional work.
Is there a minimum booking?
Applicable hourly removal appointments have a two-hour minimum, with additional time charged in half-hour increments. Confirm the terms for your specific booking.
How early should I book?
Book as soon as the moving date and addresses are known, particularly for weekends, month-end dates and student term changes. Short-notice availability may still be possible.

What access information should I provide?
Tell us about floors, stairs, lifts, loading bays, parking restrictions, long carries, narrow doorways and any time-limited building access at collection and delivery.
Should everything be packed before the movers arrive?
Customer-packed belongings should be boxed, closed and labelled before the booked start. If you need help, arrange a full or partial packing service in advance.
Can furniture be dismantled and reassembled?
Selected furniture can be handled when agreed in the scope. Identify wardrobes, beds, tables and flat-pack pieces during the survey so suitable tools and time are allowed.
Who arranges parking?
Legal loading access is required at both addresses. Permits or suspensions normally need coordination with the relevant council, building manager or property contact.

Do you supply packing materials?
Boxes, tape, wrapping paper, bubble wrap and protective covers can be supplied through our packing materials service or included with professional packing.
Can removals and storage be combined?
Yes. Part or all of a move can route into storage, with redelivery planned when the next property is ready.
Are there items that need special discussion?
Pianos, artwork, antiques, stone, glass, sensitive business equipment and unusually heavy belongings should be declared. Hazardous, illegal or restricted materials are not standard removal items.
